Job Title: Dental Nurse / Head Dental Nurse

Location: Chester-le-Street

Salary: £14ph+, this is dependent on experience and how well the interview goes.

About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Nurse, with the potential to step into or further develop as a Head Dental Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team in Chester-le-Street, where patient care and clinical excellence are at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside support to clinicians across a wide range of dental treatments.

• Uphold the highest standards of cross infection control, decontamination, and surgery preparation.

• Assist in the supervision, training, and development of junior team members (for Head Dental Nurse responsibilities).

• Support with stock control, ordering, and ensuring surgeries are fully equipped.

• Accurately maintain patient records and assist with reception/administration as required.

• Deliver excellent patient care, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.

Key Requirements:

• GDC registered Dental Nurse (essential).

• Previous experience as a Dental Nurse; experience in a senior or lead role is desirable but not essential.

• Strong knowledge of cross infection and decontamination procedures.

• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

• Professional, reliable, and committed to continuous learning and development.
