Job Progression Coach (Statutory), Crook

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Progression Coach to work with young people who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET) in the Durham area. You will support, guide, and inspire young people to explore opportunities, develop skills, and progress towards education, training, or employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one guidance and support to NEET young people.
• Develop personalised action plans to help individuals achieve their goals.
• Deliver workshops, sessions, and activities to enhance skills, confidence, and employability.
• Collaborate with local schools, colleges, employers, and community organisations.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor progress.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Level 2 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance, Youth Work, or a relevant subject.
• Experience working with young people, ideally in a guidance, support, or youth work capacity.
• Strong communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of local education, training, and employment opportunities.
• Experience supporting NEET young people or vulnerable groups.

Contract length: 3-6 months (with expectation of an ongoing extension)

Rate of Pay: £13.69-17.26

Hours: Full time, 37 hours each week.
