Joiner (Contract) –
location: Seaham
Salary: £20.31

We are currently recruiting experienced Joiners (NVQ Level 2 minimum) to join our team on a variety of sites across Bishop Auckland, Durham, Stanhope, and surrounding regions. This is an excellent opportunity for tradespeople with a passion for quality craftsmanship to work flexibly on multiple projects. Joiner – Job Responsibilities:
As a Joiner, your responsibilities will include:
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
- Operating hand and power tools efficiently and safely
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards
- Working independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Covering sites across West/Central areas (Bishop Auckland, Durham, Stanhope to Sherburn) with occasional travel to East regions (Blackhall to Murton)
Successful candidates for the Joiner role should possess:
- NVQ Level 2 in Joinery or higher
- Valid Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, and Working at Height certifications
- Proven experience in joinery and general maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Full UK driving license (a van is provided for work purposes)
- Flexibility to cover sites further afield when required
